works, but with instructions
in order for this shampoo to work as intended, you must leave in your hair for about 3 minutes. let is sit on your scalp and roots. if your hair is really oily, use twice (rinse and repeat!). I sometimes use another clarifying shampoo first, then let this sit in my hair, and it works great. but if you are not willing to take the extra time, you may have to look for something else (I have tried everything else!)

Authentic but old product.
This is bascally an older formula of this shampoo they have introduced a newer superior version.
