I didn't like the way this book is set up. It is a list of the names of different plants from A to Z with a very brief description. There are a few line drawings of the plants but no photographs. The information that I'm really looking for is spread sporadically throughout the book. I still don't know what flowers to plant with my other vegetables. I guess I can plant roses with my garlic, at least the title gives me that clue. I just want a book I can read straight through and get the information quickly. This is the first edition of this book, maybe a newer version would be more straight forward.
I would highly recommend the purchase of this book and its companion book!

This book Roses love Garlic, is wonderful and full of ideas and informative information about companion planting. I ordered this for a young bride gardener, I will order one for myself. I also ordered the companion book about tomato companion planting. This is a better composition and easier to follow than other book companion planting books I have read..
