It’s awesome. One more detail to make the engine compartment more presentable. Only problem I had is that the dipstick is right between the header tubes. (1973 Challenger, 440 with headers)
When the engine is hot I have to grab it with a rag to check the oil so I don’t burn my hand.
I bought one of the cheaper dipsticks only to discover the nut at the end that goes into the block was so large it didn’t clear the motor mount. This one slides right by, allowing it to fully seat in the block AND the attached mount is perfectly located, unlike the other one that would have required ‘adjustment’. The dipstick works well, doesn’t catch like the old flat type. Double the price, but it fits, looks great (although I should have paid extra for black) and is good quality.
