Buy the third party cartridge replacement and they work just as fine. This was the main reason why I bought it, not to mention that my girlfriend also had the same printer. I have printed enough already that it made up for he price. Very handy and I never think twice about printing. It is difficult to set up, but it is up and running it is such a blessing to have such a great printer at your finger tips.
