Took a chance and ordered a sealed original print head dated expiration 2012! So far it is working better than the "new" one previously purchased that stopped working after a few weeks. Saved over $50 !! Hurray!!

The print head turned out to be bad. The Printer HP office jet Pro L7680 identified it as bad. I tested it anyway. It gave black and yellow print errors. After adding up the costs it would take to buy another print head and a few ink cartridges, I just bought a new HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 for $99. For printers, don't buy parts, buy a new printer.

Tried an OEM printhead which worked for 3 days and had to be returned. This new printhead is working perfectly and I have already printed dozens of nice color items. Will only by Genuine HP in the future. I do use off-brand ink and that seems to be no problem
