Great window fan
I have this fan running in two windows of my home pretty much 24/7/365. As it's temperature controlled it's running in the spring and fall to bring air in, in the summer it helps my A/C circulate through the house better, and in winter I place it in front of the radiators to push warm air throughout the house. They're not going to blow you off the couch, but they're definitely more powerful (on high) than any other smaller window fan I've ever owned. The temp control works really well, I love knowing the temperature any time I want to look, and the remote works like a champ. They don't last forever. Maybe 3 to 5 years? Longer, if you're better at cleaning them than I am. But as I use them *constantly* I still think that's a pretty good record. You want a windstorm that reaches through the house? Don't buy this. If you don't mind a bit of volume, excellent fan
