Expensive disappointment.
I first purchased this curing resin, as it is called, as part of a starter kit for this odorless brand of acrylic nail application. I was needing to find an alternative to the monomer I had used for years which others found headache inducing. The first bottle was thin in consistency and went on easily. Because there was a lot of product left after the first application I simply tightened the cap as I would any similar product and anticipated I would use it again when I needed to fill my nails again. When I went to use it again however I found it to be a thick, glommed up mess. Because I had not anticipated this would be the case I had no back up bottle or even a bottle of super glue, which I had determined this resin to essentially be, based on the exact same odor they both have. I managed to eek out enough of the product and manipulate it enough that I got some applied to every nail but the terribly rough, uneven application it resulted in turned my smooth application of acrylic into a “hot mess. “. I thought perhaps this was my fault, that I had not properly cleaned the applicator brush after my first use so I ordered a new set of two bottles, thinking I would always have a spare should this ever happen again. Upon opening the first bottle I found it to be so thick it was unusable. The second bottle was in the same condition so once again I had no back up and had to make do with the thick product I had before me. Hoping the third time would be the charm I again purchased a set of two bottles and yet again I have received two thickened bottles that were totally unusable. At $13.00 for two I have wasted over $26.00 for a product that has been a mess to use. For this reason I will not be purchasing this product again and will most likely refrain from using this brand of odorless monomer and powder. Because I have both left to use, however, I am going to try and use it and simply skip the step of applying the super glue curing resin and see if by allowing for a longer drying time I can still continue to use this brand.
