Heavy and Perfect
I received this about a month ago and was pleasantly surprised at the extra hefty weight and it's even a better quality than expected because It actually looks better than the one pictured. That was a pleasant surprise as I thought they might be seconds...which mine definitely isn't!!! I am very pleased with the excellent quality and it matches everything on my deck from the table and chairs to the wicker weave pattern of my wicker cooler. deck box, metal porch light and umbrella pole which all tie together so well. I recommend this highly due to the weight and classy look and I'm so glad I didn't settle for a cheaper plastic one! The little extra upgrade money was well worth it and I am aware I could have spent more $ for a lesser quality! I'm still impressed daily and it totally sets my whole deck theme off..! Who knew that this 'unseen' floor element would be such an important detail I see every time I walk out there and I find myself taking that in each time I look over my deck-orating and it just sets it off so perfectly that it actually helps me enjoy my space even more. It's even a good foot prop for me as a shorter lady...And...Oh...lol...it holds the umbrella firmly as well which is the actual purpose...But I'm just loving it all the way around!!! :)

A relatively light umbrella stand. I did not expect to use it as a stand alone. I added about 12 bricks on the stand to make it stand alone. The flat top makes it possible to stack standard red bricks.

Best stand ever!
I've had many stands over the years and this is the best one ever. We had a freak storm that lasted only about 10 minutes with wind gusts of 40 mph and my umbrella was still standing afterwards. Easy directions for assembly. Comes with 3 inserts for a more secure fit for the size of the umbrella pole.
