I got these because they were inexpensive, matched my bike and they promise to securely hold a water bottle. I've used them on several rides now over some really bumpy roads and they haven't failed me. It is a bit of a challenge to take the bottle out of the cage (no problem putting it back) but it's not too difficult once you figure out the technique.
