Where to begin? I can remember being a child and having to go to the "cool kids" house to use this thing. Back in the late 80's. If you had this. You were DEFINITELY considered COOL! :) lol Now that I'm in my mid 30's, and independent. Im finally able to buy one of my own. (Now I'm the "cool Kid...err. Adult! Cool adult! 😇😁😎 ) For going on 30 years old, these things are incredibly WELL BUILT. The one I received does have some yellowing on it from that RETARDED, fire retardant chemical - Bromine ( Who ever the dumba55 is that decided to put that chemical into the ABS plastic for these old devices... SHOULD BE SHOT!!! ) But, aside from some discoloration, it works extremely well! These things were built like a Tank, and are really durable. My only complaint is, that they should have made replacement components for these. Because if yours breaks, You'll have to buy an entirely new-Used one. I Hope this helps someone out there, looking to buy one of these. It's a nice addition to ANY gamers collection.Read full review

This is a great solid controller. I love the fact that it makes you feel like you're playing a arcade game back from the 80s in your own home. The best part about it is the turbo buttons which allows you to cheat in a way. This is a great piece for anybody that is looking to complete a collection of original Nintendo NES equipment . It's simply just a blast from the past.

I bought this specifically for games like Skyhawk and 1943. Many other games are great with it as well. Some of my buddies and I hooked up four advantage controllers with a multiplayer tap, (Yes it's possible) and we played some Ivan "Iron Man" Off-Road and super spike V ball. Some of the most fun I've had with video games in a long time!

Very well made. Metal. Won't wear out as a cheap made plastic item would. Joystick is very easy to use. Extra function buttons make game playing easy.

The NES Advantage controller is awesome, especially for top down shooter games, etc. It's also very sturdy with a heavy metal base. A little bit creaky plastic on on the joystick.

Old. But plays well. Cost wasn't too bad. This works with my. NES/ Super NES / Saga. All in one after market gaming system. Makes playing old games fun.

I bought this because I saw this project on the Net about turning these into lamps and I was in love with it. I don't really have a Nintendo, and using one of these would be impractical at best with games like Super Mario Bros., so I thought this would be a better use for it. It now sits in my room as a kickass lamp. If you use it as a controller, however, you'll appreciate the arcade feel, quality of the buttons and stick, and build quality. I wouldn't use one even if I had an NES, but if you like this sort of thing, kudos.
Nintendo always made their products built to last. Joystick is built well and sturdy. This Joystick is from the 80’s time period and still runs like a charm. If you love Nintendo and want to feel like you did back in the day at the arcade then this is the product for you.

For the original NES, there is no equal as far as controllers! The Turbo Joystick is solid, and can take a lot of hard play. Well worth the price!
