Wears through quickly
Maybe it’s the shoes I wear or my foot placement on the pedals, but my clutch pedal pad wears completely through every 6,000 miles or so, which is less than 6 months of driving for me. By wearing through, I mean that there is no rubber left on the top 1/4 of the pad except for the outside edge. The middle half has no tread remaining and the bottom tread is barely visible anymore. The brake pedal lasts about twice as long, but still wears through in the middle and top in under a year. If you live in the desert, they would work just fine, but add some rain to a worn out pad and you might feel your heart skip a beat when your foot slips off a pedal. I generally keep at least 2 on hand so I can change them the first time it feels slick. However, I am looking into alternatives that will last longer, but not impede clutch action or cost so much.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pedal pads came in good time, from abroad, seem to be of great material, and fit my pedals perfectly . . . once I remembered how to install them (from the bottom up). I'll need 100K miles to see how durable they are, but look like they'll be good for another 150K, like the last ones.
