Upgrade from OEM part, but could have been formed much better.
This product is an upgrade from the OEM turbocharger oil drain line on a 2015 Ford Escape 1.6L. The original is two metal pieces at the connections with a rubber section in the middle section and attached to the metal pieces with metal clamps. The new one is all one piece with flexible metal bellows that account for the curvature needed. This item is challenging to install without removing the passenger side cv axle, but can be done. The upper connection requires a gasket (not included) that has to be aligned with the turbocharger connection and the pipe while installing. The issue is that the pipe doesn't align without somehow putting tension on it while trying to keep everything lined up in a very limited space. I finally got it installed, but it would have been so much easier if the part would have been bent correctly in the first place. The screws require a T30 torx bit, and a 1/4in ratchet with extensions.
