It is a ControlNet communication bridge module for standard media and is used in a ControlNet network. This type of network uses Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) and will allow you to combine an I/O network and a peer-to-peer network. By combining them, you will provide high-speed performance for both network types. The CNB/E has a standard configuration, a max of 64 connections, a current draw (5.1V DC) of 970 mA, and a thermal dissipation of 17.4 BTU/hr. It's a solid bridge for your network.
