I received the watch needing a new battery. I didn't know the process for reprogramming until I got into changing the battery. The programming is pretty complex with many step that have to be completed in order to be successful. The process isn't intuitive at all. I eventually was able to get the watch set with the correct day, date and time. The watch has plain sword hands with a nice Mercedes style second hand. Mine has a charcoal face and white numerals and hands. The day/date is at the 3 o'clock position. One design element that I really like is the date window shows the range of dates. By that I mean is shows the date before and after the correct one. That means you can see 3 numbers with the correct date in the middle. This gives you a greater chance of recognizing the small number in the display. There is no bezel or other complications on the design. The fit and finish is very good for a Timex. It has a screw down back. It's claim to fame is that on the months with 30 days it remembers to go to the first without having to reset the date. I haven't seen this happen as I've not had it long enough to see if that works correctly. I do like the look and it's comfortable to wear. Nice simple clean design. Read full review

Nice looking & keeps good time. However, the hour hand was misaligned and had to be reset by a watch repair service.
