Prefer the model with the iluminated keyboard. This model has a little LED at the top of the screen. It does work to see the keyboard letters but the model with illuminating keyboard letters is much nicer. It is a little heavy which can be expected because of all the things that get packed into this small laptop. Its has a 1.8 inch hard drive which I was not expecting. Maximum RAM is 8 gb. It has a very sturdy look and feel. Seems that is made to last a lifetime. It has a light sensor in the bottom of the screen which adjusts the screen brightness depending on the outside environment. I'm going to make the following changes to make this little jet into a supersonic one: Replace its windows 7 with a linux distribution probably UBUNTU or fedora. Replace its hard drive with a solid state drive(SSD). Replace the 2x(2GB) RAM with 2x(4GB) RAM. Can't wait until I get this mods done!Read full review

Did not come with a dock as advertised. Did not come with WIN10 as advertised. Issue with LCD screen turning pink now and then. Buts thats ok. I bought this as a replacement for an HP2540P that died on me a few weeks ago. I dont need the dock. In took the DVDRW out and replaced it with the HDD with WIN10 from my old laptop, plugged the battery in from my old laptop, and I was up and running again. As for the pink screen, i suspect possibly the backlight is going, but if it is, Ill take that from my old laptop too. So I am happy with what I got for the price, but others may not have been

These are still fantastic laptops and are pretty rugged. With Windows 10, you will be very pleased. I bought two for my daughters and they have survived well... and they have been happy playing all of their games. Downside...not lightweight! Not even close.

The device missed critical parts and that was expected (as I do have all of them sitting around without use). Came with a WWAN card, memory and windows 7 key that are already useful to me. The laptop was well packaged and came in really clean condition and seem to have been used with care, in the past! With some patience and time this retired laptop is being restored to be fully operational, fully loaded computer. I could not find one complaint even if I would be neat picking
