Sanitizer light requires a few things done right
When I first used this unit, the light would not come on. There are two reasons for this. First, the electrical contact from the vacuum to the base must be done a certain way. The latch must be held down and the the vacuum put in place. Then the latch must be pulled up to snap into place. If you just try setting the vacuum into the base, it will not make contact and will not stay together as a single unit. Second. you must press down hard on the surface you are vacuuming/sanitizing. There's a small rocker switch on the bottom that needs to be raised in order to trigger the light to come on. This makes it very difficult to do a mattress that is not totally rigid and doesn't make a firm surface for the switch to press against.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

It really works so well, has helped my son that had allergies! The Hepa Filter captures small microorganisms, dust and dust mites that usually bother him... no sneezing or coughing after I vacuumed my 2 sons beds! Small but powerful
I mostly use this without the UV attachment for quick pick up and cleaning. It is very powerful. I cleaned and dried everything according to directions and it was an easy procedure.
