Great Media Server
I own 3 of these, just bought one for my uncle. I use this mainly as a video media server with 2 hard disks and assorted flash drives connected to the front USB port via a USB hub. The manual states that "Maximum files/Folder: Less than 2000 (total number of files and folders)". With the NTFS formatted hard disks, I have FAR exceeded this number with no problems. CONS: Limited streaming capability; some subtitle formats are incompatible with non-optical disk file formats. If you want a more full featured TV box, I recommend the Minix U8K-Ultra - I own it and it's great. But not as easy to use as the LG UBK90.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Plays old CDs and DVDs
Make sure your discs are clean before playing them. The player locked up when it encountered debris on the disc and the disc could only be removed after the stop button was pushed, then the eject button. The LED flashed green 30 times, then a red LED flashed showing the error. The literature has no fault code definitions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Yay for Blu Ray
This LG UBK90 plays RedBox Blu Ray disk wonderfully except it did lock up once in disc menu extras....i turned it off for 20 seconds and it played in disc menu without any problem..Was pleased that that it was in an unopened factory sealed box with everything included in the box that you would expect from LG.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Be careful which HDMI port you plug in?
I first connected the HDMI with an HDMI input on my LG Ultra High def OLED TV. Tried playing a Blu-Ray DVD. Lots of problems; white outs, no program. I switched to another HDMI port and everything was fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
