Everything you'd expect from a upper-mid tier keyboard from Yamaha, and frankly a lot more. This will appeal to acoustic piano players, especially the key touch. They're heavy, but not quite as much as a entry-level acoustic. Not outrageously, but heavy and the level of touch response is adjustable to match your playing style, giving you the feedback from the key touch you expect and the response will help you learn to develop a slightly lighter touch for those of us who have a tendency to bang them hard, like me. It is big, about the size of a Motif XF8, but portable- not exactly a stage piano, but it could be. Sturdy stand definitely recommended for this 47 lb. keyboard, I would not recommend a X-type. Would it hold it, yes, but get a Z or platform stand. The FC35 3-pedal unit is the way to go if you want portability. It is also big and very well built. The speakers are great for a small room but if you're going to gig with it, get the subwoofer or a small keyboard amp. It has a 1/4 stereo plug NOT the typical XLR jacks you'd find on a true stage piano. The speakers sound VERY good. Voices are VERY good. The Smart Pianist app for android is not strictly compatible, which stinks, but it enables Bluetooth playback through the keyboard speakers and parses your music to give you the chords, allows you to adjust the key and tie signatures, and a few other limited features of the app which is still VERY cool. Will keep you busy for quite some time.Read full review

I am learning to play piano and keyboards and progressed to the point of wanting an 88-key keybed with weighted action. That got me to include the DGX-670 in my evaluation. I ultimately purchased this keyboard and so far after 1 week with it I am pleased with the purchase. There are many in-depth reviews, so I won't go into that. Rather I'll say the multitude of features, functionality, sound library, and quality of sounds all exceeded my expectations. What most exceeded my expectations so far is the [good] quality of the sound from the internal amplifiers and speakers. I have a second keyboard, a synthesizer, and I route that into the Aux input and can hear both instruments thru the DGX-670 speakers and headphone output, plus it is really nice that there are mixer and EQ functions that can be applied to the Aux input. Other reviews mention the "portable" aspect, however here's my comment. It is large and heavy. But, since it is not integrated into a cabinet or stand it is relatively easily moved and transported versus an all-in-one keyboard plus stand or cabinet. So while it is transportable it takes a bit of effort, which can be a struggle for 1 person but easily handled by 2 people. Also in this regard, a heavy duty stand is advised.Read full review

This keyboard is a fantastic value for the money. So many features...voices, rhythm...recording. Realistic sounding piano. Will offer hours and hours of entertainment. The only drawback is this is NOT portable. It looks great with the stand and pedal unit situated in your preferred place in your home.

It is a great product. The variety of good sounds make it such an incredible product for its value.

It came with no AC power adapter cord, no foot pedal and no owners manual and I haven't yet obtained these items. The speakers are identical to the ones in a twenty year old earlier model that has not beer updated and were very poor quality.
