You Sent Me The Correct Product - Gator Frameworks GFWMICBCBM3000
I ordered this as a "Demo" model from a place called Sweetwater.. On ordering it, I was not sure of the exact condition it would be in, but there was a cost savings in doing that, and since it is for my little "home studio" I opted to try and save a few buck.
To my surprise, I received the correct product - a Gator Frameworks GFWMICBCBM3000
Turns-out that it was packaged in an OEM box, it was complete, and the unit appeared to be in near new condition. YES - the OEM box had been previously opened, but nothing else.. The plastic bag was still sealed from the factory, no scratches or wear marks on the paint / coating (?) and all the assembly parts were included in the package. WOOHOO!
It is stiff enough to hold the microphone, the "mic holder" and the screen where I set them, and then there is no movement or drift afterwards - it is locked in. Movement of the arm was exactly what I was looking for.
I am by no means a pro, but in my application this is exactly what I was looking for. I'm actually considering getting a matching second unit exactly like this one to hold a "guest" microphone with - but that is un-decided as of yet - I would need real guests for that - not just an occasional visit from my cat..
