The screen resolution is 1080p, but the unit is shipped with the text size slightly magnified, which means the text is not too small. This can be changed in the settings. The screen brightness at maximum setting is not as bright as some notebooks but is very usable even at 50-75% brightness. Battery life (in the past few weeks of use) is in the 10hr+ range. Web pages load quickly and the unit feels snappy, but soon after you power it up the first time it may have many updates which can cause it to lag until the updates have completed.
