Great Ramp for anyone with a dog!
This telescoping dog ramp has changed my life! I had no trouble training my do to go up and down the ramp, and he seems to enjoy it. It is very sturdy, easy to put on my car and take it off. Just love it, the dogs do too.
Just perfect. I have two older dogs who can now only enter and exit my station wagon via a ramp. I had a nice older ramp of thick plastic of some kind, but it was getting very heavy for me, an older person too, to deal with. The Solvit Telescoping ramp is fabulously lightweight. I actually look forward to the car outings rather than dreading it. Besides being light, the telescoping aspect is very easy to use. Some of the reviews said large dogs could not deal well with the sandpaper-like surface of the ramp (which adds makes the ramp so light to handle), but I find that towels or small rugs adhere very firmly to the sandpaper surface and give the dogs traction and confidence. The only problem I've experienced is the ramp blowing down in high wind. Now on windy days I park directly into the wind for loading and unloading of the dogs. Works fine. I highly recommend. Perfect ramp for my 12 1/2 year old Golden Retriever to easily get into and out of our 5th wheel RV. Very good with one drawback
This is a very nice pet ramp. It is well made and sturdy. The only improvement I would make is the surface, it is similar to sandpaper and some dogs will not walk on it. I solved that with a heavy rug or mat with rubber backing and I cut it to size.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
