What a huge disappointment, given Record Store Day should celebrate the virtues and joys of vinyl. Avoid and find a good copy of the original soundtrack on Cotillion, mixed from the multi-track masters in a way more controlled environment. This mono board mix (front of house, I'm assuming) is unsettlingly different (not in a good way) and just not the tribute Woodstock deserved on it's 50th anniversary. It's as muddy as the field those poor kids had to slog through once the rains hit. One thing of note is a longer, unedited Sly and The Family Stone set that was edited on the soundtrack version. Unless you're a collector, this is not with your time, let alone the extravagant post R.S.D. prices you're already seeing for this.

Yipes stripes. Muddy sound. The original wasn't great recording, but blows this mistake away.
