Clearly see number of rounds loaded

This is a Name Brand Magazine of high quality. You will always know how many rounds are in this magazine. It is nice to see when internal cleaning should be done to this Clear Magazine. Clear cost a little more, but it is worth it for the extra value of Clear Magazines...YUP

    Difficult to use

Neither of these two BX-1 clear magazines fit well in my Ruger American .22 rimrife rifle. It takes more effort than it should to insert them into the magazine well, and removing them is a real chore. I have to hold the magazine eject lever in place while trying to pry either magazine from the well. I thought this might be the well of the rifle itself, so I tried them in a 10/22 model by the same manufacturer. Same result. I only recommend them because it just might be possible that the magazines will perform better after some use. Perhaps this recommendation is a mistake on my part, but I have some hope for the product. I want to like these clear magazines, but that's a somewhat difficult thing to do.

  • High quality see thru mags

These are pricey, I think I paid over 20 buks each but they are nice, high quality, work great, I also recommend getting the alangator that holds 3 of these together, much better shooting experience than carrying and fumbling with each mag separately. I wud buy more if they wer not so expensive.

  • Great product...(22 rifle magazine for Ruger)

It is nice to purchase a quality product that is well built and does what you purchased it for. I expect this magazine will work well for many many years. Price is always a consideration but after the purchase your interest goes to quality and functionality. The price of this unit is similar to most searched from other suppliers. I would recommend to all that have interest to feel comfortable in this purchase. Regards, Dan

  • Great substitute for standard magazine if you want to know whether it is loaded from any angle.

This magazine is perfect for your 10/22 rifle especially if you want to see how much is loaded. It not only is cool but functional as well since you can see right through. First time I fired it, there were no jams or malfunctions. Since then I've put a lot of rounds through it and it has performed great. I enjoy this quite a bit. In my magpul stock, it is nice to be able to see if it is loaded before I go out to the range.

  • Work fine and lets you see remaining ammo.

The advantage with this is that you can see the number of shots you have left. Otherwise, it works just like the black magazines. Had no problem with it feeding. The transparency of it is worth a little extra cost.

  • Do ya feel lucky?

The Ruger 10-22 magazine is the heart of this handy and iconic carbine. The only improvement possible would be if someone made it so you can see the rounds....well, guess what?! You can SEE the rounds! Did I shoot nine, or ten? Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya !? No, I'll just drop the mag, and check. Nicely done!

  • See-through .22 magazines

When I was ordering the clear ammo magazine for Ruger 22mm rifles, I thought they might break easier than the black but after handling the clear ones, I'm confident they're the same. I bought them because I like being able to see how many and what kind of ammo is loaded. Just as importantly, if and when the clip needs cleaning. Even though they are a few bucks more, it's worth it for these conveniences. Besides all that, I can't get them mixed up with my friends' black ones =:->

  • Works like it should.

Bought this because it just looks cool with a stainless rifle......and who doesn't need another spare mag anyway? The ability to see if the mag is full is a definite plus. It is however, a bit pricey for what it is. Clear plastic shouldn't cost more than plastic that has color added to it.

  • BX1CLR and E&L Dual Mag Connector

The E&L Dual Mag Connector makes magazine changes very quick. You have the option to choose if you want both mags facing the same direction or opposite directions and try both positions out before gluing them together to decide which arrangement works best for you. I've had no jamming or stopping issues in the 700 rounds I've run through the BX1CLR magazines so far. Really like this product!
