The grinder may be the single most used tool in and out of my shop. I always go back to Milwaukee grinders because they are tough, strong, reliable, and with the paddle switch safer and easier on my wore-out hands and arms. The variety of disks and tools that can be used--chain saw blade debarker, wood grinding disks, wire wheels, masonry cutting disks, metal grinding and cutting disks, even leather-working--makes this particular grinder my go to power tool. As an artist, welder, carpenter, saddle maker, handyman, custom bike builder, or restoring my old truck from the ground up, the 11 amps lets me work harder and faster, and the paddle switch lets me wear any gloves I want to use the power switch. This is my third Milwaukee 4 1/2 inch grinder in 25 years of series use, the other two only need switches and cords, and one of these days I can repair them and each will last another ten years. Badass tool.Read full review

Unit was inoperable upon receipt. Armature shaft was broken at pinion gear. I had to order a new armature to repair. MISREPRESENTED PRODUCT. I WOULDN'T TRUST THIS SELLER AGAIN!

I have several different makes of 4-1/2 in. grinders and this one is as good or better than most of them. My Bosch is probably the best, most powerful on but the Milwaukee ranks right in there with my Makita and Kawasaki. It is very comfortable and the paddle switch makes using it easy.

My first 4 1/2 inch Milwaukee grinder lasted 25 years of almost weekly usage. This one is more powerful and easier to hold on to when using it for grinding. The disc change out is much easier than the old one and the adjustable guard as well as the paddle on/off switch is a definite improvement over the older model.

I have 2 of these grinders they work well for small weld jobs with lots of power to use a cut off wheel on them & also to do abrasive grinding.. this grinder is built well & will withstand what u put it through.

grinder in great shape. Works great. Very surprised - almost looked like it was new! Only wish it had the spanner wrench with it (but that's my fault for not interpreting the posting correctly). I thought it was a standard nut, the same as my 3 other Milwaukee right angle grinders, but my spanner wrenches would not fit it. I had to take a nut from one of my other grinders to use it (the threads were the same, only the spacing and hole size for the spanner wrench were different), so no real big deal!

Great grinder, powerful and easy to use. Mine slips out of the on-lock position as I'm using it though so I have to always have my hand on the "on-button".

I cannot tell the quality difference between this new 4 1/2" right angle grinder, and my 9" Milwaukee right angle grinder that was made in the United States. Both grinders are top grade power tools. I have found that power tools made by Milwaukee to be the best that can be purchased.
