I had read some good reviews of this product before actually trying it out. Easy to "knead" together two equal lengths of Tamiya's putty and apply it to my project du jour (I'm an automodeler.......and I do some "plane" stuff on the side). In brief: If you REALLY love & care for that model project you're presently working on, PLEASE avoid the "tube" style putties as they are lacquer-based and will continue to "gas out" (while doing this, they continue to shrink while trying to completely dry, this could go on for weeks and even months). GET SERIOUS and get Tamiya Epoxy Putty!! I recommend carving excess away (after at least 24 hrs. to make sure it's well-cured) excess product away with a sharp X-Acto blade and then use sanding sticks (220 up to 600-800 grits, in succession) to "feather" any remaining putty into the work you're wanting to fill, seal, sculpt, alter, etc. Check with applied primer coats as often as necessary. This. Putty. Does. NOT!! Shrink!! The epoxy in the two-part mix is the trick!! Highly recommended!! Read full review

I needed something to make welds on models and this turned out to be a game changer. So glad I found this as it is way better than what I have been using.
