Its a great mug to keep ur drink hot for pretty long period , u can use it as normal mug for the first couple of hours and later if u felt ur drink is getting colder u can turn the mug on and give ur drink some heat to get to the desired temperture

Does not keep things to temperature for 2 hrs. Is not well insulated. Hot drinks cool very fast when you don't have warming feature on. Not work the money you have to pay for this product.

Great design, quality construction,,,however, it doesn’t stay hot very long. I bought this to take ‘hot’ coffee out to my deer hunting place - I had borrowed a friends last year to take out while boating, and liked it.....but, during cold deer hunting time - VERY disappointed in its heat retention!

Before buying this product Few things to remember The mug only contain 8 OZ the battery last 2 hours. If you are good with that it is a good item to buy it.

I own both a mug and a travel mug. Big fan at first. Very high quality but very expensive. The bottom line is that it only maintains heat at 145 degrees and a Keurig dispenses at 160 degrees. At 145 degrees, the battery only lasts about 45 minutes and the coffee or tea very quickly goes cold. Less staying time than a much cheaper Yeti. It’s only a good idea if you keep it on its charger and then it can last all day. Parked on a charger it’s a great idea. It’s a little fussy, loosing contact with your paired phone and such. Again, amazing quality and feel. That’s the good part.

I love my Ember travel mug. It works great for keeping my hot beverage hot, its technologically advanced, and its good looking. What more could you want besides a lower price? I do enjoy my coffees much longer now that they stay at temperature and I've tried an electric coffee mug warmer (Mr. Coffee) and they did not work, were not adjustable and made the coffee too hot particularly at the end of the coffee. When this was released I thought, who is going to buy this, but it ended up being me. So just go out and get one!

Somewhat disappointed. I have the Ember cup and am well pleased. The travel mug needs some work. The battery doesn’t last as long and an insulated mug, like a Yeti, actually holds as long or longer. Biggest problem is no way to charge it in a vehicle...a “travel mug” simply must have a 12 volt charging capability. Get back to work, Ember.

Lives up to advertised qualities. Keeps coffee as hot as my Grandson sets the temperature. This was a gift for him and he loves it!
