Friedrich Chill Premier 10,000 BTU A/C
Been using the unit for 3 months, pretty quiet for a window A/C and chills the room quickly. The WiFi set up instructions are incorrect in the manual, you have to press DISPLAY 6 times followed by MODE and then you should see CF on the screen. I like the app for the most part but wish it had a display on/off option like the controller. For the price I got it for, can't complain and it's nice to control the A/C through my phone if I left it on or want to cool the room before getting home.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Things I would change
The remote control is just .. better than nothing. The LCD screen needs good lighting to be able to see it. It doesn't show the room temperature believe it or not. ..the phone app is the 1 to use. For some crazy reason they think a person is more interested in the out door temperature, barometric pressure, wind speed and out door humidity instead..unbelievable...where are these people from..the air direction control can be turned all the way to 1 side..yet the air still comes .ostly straight out the middle..but its very quiet ..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The older units 1/2 the size and price actually cool alot better
With all the green environmental products they use as freon nowadays, the less effective the actual ac units are becoming, we've always had Friedrich units and still do. 1 of our 4000-5000 sized units cools our 1st floor more then this new 8000 sized will cool the small 12x12 room its in, this one has a more powerful fan and blows cool air, not cold? Come in from a hot summer day and you'd never know there was ac blowing on ya, feels more like a box fan, but you walk 1/2 way across our livingroom you feel actual cold ac air coming from the back bedroom? My personal opinion, I suggest keep looking for a Older model for a cold ac, this is only more like a expensive fan?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cold air/ wifi app not good
The air conditioner it self works great. The app and it being connected to a wifi not so great. It start controlling itself. Looked like it went haywire on me.
