You will not find a Bulova timepiece that matches anything close to what they produced in the 70s and 80s. I used to own a Rolex datejust. This watch is a real close runner up. Although, not all of them are the same quality. Some of the latter versions do not have Sapphire crystal. On the other hand the newer ones have a better movement with 25 jewels. It's a bit of a give and take. I don't recommend gold tone or gold plated ones because they cannot be properly polished when needed. These watches are increasing in value; even the ones that are not in great condition. Bear in mind, these are not large watches. Don't let the enlarged photos mislead. The case is only 36mm; but a classic size.
