    Worked out great

I have 4 work lights that I like to use for everything. Now I don't worry about running out of light when we dry camp. When the battery goes down just plug in the battery for awhile and we are good to go.

  • Top critical review

    For $30. it's fine, but...

The spring on the cigarette lighter plug (the tip) is WAY TOO strong and makes the plug pop out of the charging port. I took it apart, it's the spring under the fuse by the way. I cut to the soring down to decrease the spring tension. Also, I have to give the battery a jiggle to get it to charge. Ya get what ya pay for, but we knew that already. -jared

  • Versatility on the go

The Charger works perfectly to recharge the batteries for the Ryobi tools I keep in my truck. On trips I take the inflator and the work light just in case I need to change a tire. On our next vacation I plan to take the fan and lantern too. Charges batteries while the truck is off so batteries can be maintained. Another excellent Ryobi product!

  • Charge Your Ryobi Batteries On The Go...

If you've ever found yourself out and about with your Ryobi 18 volt rechargeable and batteries go dead, this is the ideal charger for you. It charges the 4 amp hour batteries in the same amount of time as the AC plug in charger. The charger is compact and easy to bring along. The only issue I've personally run into, I've found 1 or vehicles where the 12 volt outlet doesn't supply enough power to run the charger. No fault of the charger itself though. Over all, an excellent addition to your Ryobi 18 volt tools.

  • Lightly used and works like new

Works great for me. Has a couple scuffs and scrapes, nothing unusual for a refurb. Charges the batteries just fine and cost me half the price of a new one. A great value IMO

  • A Rare Find

I had never seen a 12 volt battery charger for any of the major tool companies. We have an RV which has a 12 volt receptacle built in so I bought this and it works great. The batteries charge quickly and the unit does not heat up, nor does the plug. Great for us because the RV is always plugged in. Not sure how it would be in in a car that is not running, but it may be able to charge the battery without killing the car battery. I will try it at some point. I still like it. G.

  • For the guy on the move.

The Ryobi 18 Volt ONE+ Li-Ion IN-VEHICLE CHARGER P131 is a good add on for the person that needs a shop on the go and may not have 110 volts available. Having this in my truck gives me a charged battery no matter where I am on the farm.

  • Awesome

It does its job . It does it on the go. Plug it in to your cigarette lighter on the car and charge your batteries. I think it even does a better and faster job at charging batteries than the small black chargers that plug in to the wall. I only bought this one because I had one just like it. The old one messed up cause I kept spilling coffee on it. At least I think thats waht happenned. Anyway it had a good run and now the new one should last a good while, just gotta keep the coffee away!

  • Low Cost Insurance against Dead Batteries!

I work in a lot of remote locations. Since I use the batteries for everything from weed eating to spotlights, this is a low-cost option to make sure I'm never stuck with a dead power tool battery. Works just like the Ryobi chargers in the shop and charges at a similar rate. Could be a little smaller, like the newer Ryobi chargers, but this is just an observation... not a gripe. Bought a second one for my weekend rig!
