Not so great
It only has one speed...a little faster than I'd like. And it's not very effective. My cell phone was way too heavy for it. there's no gear or even belt drive. It relies on friction to turn the table.. The motor drive shaft lays at an angle against the bottom of the turn table. The problem is that the drive shaft & the bottom of the turntable are both very smooth & the shaft just sits against the turntable still spinning but not enough grip to rotate the table. I truly hope this review helps. It would probably work for a ring or a very light necklace but that's it. I bought mine for a plastic model but it was unable to rotate even with that tiny very light model plane.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

OK for what it is
It's OK for being battery powered, and low cost. Unless you wear the battery down, it spins way too fast, and is not smooth.If you want to display a model car at a show, and can only use battery power, then use it with a worn down battery. You will still have many hours of use, since it uses very little juice. If you want a slower moving, smooth spinning turntable, then buy a plug-in model.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
