Loved this book. I strongly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in history and just good story telling
This book was recommended to me while on a trip in Scandinavia in May. I purchased it when I got home and was not at all disappointed. It tells the story in a saga format of a Viking chieftain named Orm and his adventures from the time of his birth until he is an old man looking back on his life. It is interesting also because it tells the Viking story from their viewpoint and is historically accurate. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone with an interest in history, world history, Scandinavian history and Viking history. Loved it and will read it again.
