Nostalgic fun
This product is a walk down memory lane for the "Wonderful World of Disney" production from 1963. As such it was delightful to watch. Historically it leaves much to be desired as neither General Thomas (a very under-rated Union general, if you were to ask me) nor the Army of the Cumberland (which was not mustered until later in 1862) were at Shiloh. There are other problems in the historical treatment as well, but all-in-all, a fun trip down childhood lane...
