The finish uses a powder coating process that is used by Zeiss and Nikon on their scopes. The rectangular stainless steel recoil key is unique and has proven reliable under recoil. awsome rings
Been using Warne mounts and rings for 20 years. Good quality product that wont break your wallet. Never had a problem with anything Warne makes . Sleek design easy install heavy duty . I have 11 rifles all have Warne rings. All the way from my high end Saurer to my low end Ruger American . I have several friends that I installed them on their weapons and they also love them . Don't hesitate buy Warne !

Good rings
A good quality ring if hight is to your liking. I found the Buris Zee rings lower profile, and less over all bulk as compared to this ring. Quality is high and very secure. Center top compression offers easy alignment without twisting scope as you tighten, that's a plus.

I will never use another type or brand of rings
Most people dont even understand scope to ring contact and how it affects repearable accuracy. Warne does it with no messy lapping.

Rock Solid Rings
These permanent low rings are my go to rings for the last 6 scopes I mounted. They hold the scope well and have a nice look. The rings are steel and made in Oregon. I probably won't use any other rings unless it's Warne low quick detach rings.
