Small and lightweight
I have been using this scanner for about 5 years. I am a trucker, and use it for downloading bills of lading to permanent files on my laptop. I use Transflo App to send these to my company. There were times when my company ask for me to resend the paper work months later. I just pull up the file form my laptop and resend. I found this scanner to be prefect for my needs. It is small enough to fit into my briefcase with my laptop, and being blue tooth I don't have to worry about cords all over the truck. If I need to charge it I can plug it into my computer ( it comes with a standard power cord too). If your looking for a small scanner to copy paperwork to EM, Fax, or Transflo this is it. It is easy to use, handles standard size sheets of paper. It is also very reasonably priced, so in the event that you break it, or lose it you won't have to take out a loan to replace it. This is prefect to save clear copy's of documents on your PC, receipts for tax reports, especially those receipts that fade. Drawback on this scanner is it is single sheet copier, and is a bit slower then larger copiers. Outside of that, I couldn't be happier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not Compatible with iOS 11!!!!!
Bought this for my son to use on the road. It is not iOS 11 compatible. Customer service said they would ask for an update and that I can just hope for the update to happen. I will wait for the update for a short period then get back in touch with them. I was advised that I could use it on my home computer. That is not why I bought it. The device is advertised to be compatible with ipad, iphone, etc. Nothing was mentioned about it not being compatible with the latest iOS version. Make sure you know all the details before purchasing this device...I wish I had known the company had not updated their software or app. There is currently no app on the apple app store. my review on this product
Im a Local tractor trailer driver and use this scanner to scan and attach to an e-mail , and sent my paperwork for the day to my terminal not at the account that we work out of. I use it in conjunction with a samsung galaxy tab2 , 7 and it works great . The resolution is adjustable to 600 dpi and it saves the scans in my gallery as jpegs. Once charged up , must be charged fully otherwise you will need to plug it in to a usb power source, you turn it on and the wifi in the scanner starts broadcasting , the you go to the wifi on the tablet and look for the device . Once connected once , you go to the wifi on tablet next time and it will connect by it self. You insert the paper you want to scan into the opening and it take it in just alittle . then you open the downloadable app and scann and save. Good Hardware - VERY BAD SW
The company did a very bad job on the software side . You need to disconnect from your main router wifi and connect to this device then you need to download and run an app to use for every single page you scan ... too much work . They should have made it possible for it to connect to your home network and just place the paper inside and have it save to a shared folder . Bad product - bad quality SW . Once fully charged and turned on it creates its own WiFi. Bring u you local connections while with blue WiFi is flashing on the Ion Scanner. Connect using the passcode in the manual. This will disconnect you from your original WiFi if you were connect. Bring up the App that was needed and start scanning. The Ion will go to sleep if not in use for about two minutes. You will see that you are now on your original WiFi. Once the Ion is turned on again it will automatically connect. Outstanding DPI resolution for a small scanner like this.
