Kramer Custom Striker 211 Electric Guitar

About this product

Product Information

A plethora of great tones are generated by the Kramer Striker 211 guitar's Alnico V bridge humbucker and dual single-coil pickups in the middle and neck. Controls include a master volume, master tone, and a 5-way selector. The volume features what Kramer calls a treble bleed mod, which keeps your tone bright when backing down the volume control. The Kramer Striker 211 Custom electric guitar features a double-cutaway mahogany body with a beautiful flamed maple top. A bolt-on maple neck has a thin-tapered profile that makes playing effortless. The Kramer guitar's 24-fret maple fingerboard sports thorn-shaped position inlays. A recessed double-locking Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo bridge system won't get in your way and will keep you in tune no matter how aggressively you play. In the mid-1970s, when Kramer guitars began, they were exclusively producing aluminum necked guitars. In 1982, Kramer cemented an exclusive distribution deal with Floyd Rose.

I passed over this guitar initially because of the broken headstock; but as I looked closer I could tell the break was not detrimental to the instrument. Repairing the headstock was a breeze as it was a clean break and no string stress on it. As for the feel, the play and the tone of this guitar - well, you won't find a better one at any price! I love the feel of the neck - it's just right. I love the large frets; the Floyd Rose is great; the axe stays in tune like it should even when I dive-bomb it; it's relatively light; looks good; and plays like a dream. For the money I spent on this guitar, and the little bit of time I spent repairing it, this is probably the best investment I've ever made in a guitar.

Very well made, beautiful and it plays very well. The two single coil pickups have that crisp Fender sound. The bridge pickup can overdrive nicely. I like this guitar , for the money it is a great deal.
