Easy to install and it really works
Literally just plug in the receiver unit(s) in any outlet, they are made so you can still use the other half of the outlet. The units light up when activated so hard of hearing people can also use this device. The transmitter buttons are easy to install. I didn't use the included screw set, I used the included 3M die cut double sided tape. Hiring an electrician to wire up a doorbell for the front door and back door of my house would have been prohibitively expensive. This unit provided 2 receivers and two doorbell buttons for a fraction of the price and I can install it myself. Plug and play. No programming, no settings, just plug them in and they work. I should have done this years ago. My house needed a doorbell since it was built, for some reason none was ever installed. This unit solves that problem quickly and easily. Easy setup, work great
I got this item so that I could hear the door bell in my shop without running wires. I installed one transmitter at the front door and one at the back gate, I put one receiver in my shop and one in a central area in the house. One thing I noticed about the transmitters is the there is like a hole on the top where the cover snaps in place. It should have been manufactured with the hole on the bottom so that water from rain would not enter. That being said, I took them apart and sprayed the circuit board both sides with electrical spray water proof insulation and let dry, not the antenna though. One remote had corrosion on the battery terminals which had to be cleaned up for proper contact with the battery. So far they are working great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for Multiple House Entrances
We have a 2 level place, each with separate entry doors. When downstairs, we couldn't hear was at the upstairs door and vice versa. This solved the problem as each entry now has it's own chime and we can determine where its coming from. Only the doorbells require batteries - which is a bonus.
