Dorman 4WD Transfrer Case Push Button Switch
My 04 Avalanche Z71 Had the 4wd service warning on. The switch would work then not work then not change when different buttons were pushed and sometimes the red (N) neutral light would be on. This was easy to change and fixed the warning light plus all of the lights and 4WD work. It was cheap enough to try this fix and lucky enough that it fixed it. The NPO codes for this part are on a sticker in the glove box. Just keep reading the codes. If you see this code then you have the right part. Selector works as it should
Replaced the old switch and solved the 'service four wheel drive' warning on my 2003 Tahoe. One thing with this switch is the lights are a different color than OEM...they are much whiter. Also the cover leaks light around the buttons which is easily solved by swapping out the cover of the new switch with the old one. Otherwise, fits & works as it should.
