Buy this, don't buy junk. I bought two non-branded units before this and regret it. Just save the $$ up and buy this when you have the $$ in hand. Don't buy cheap stuff thinking "it is half the price, I am saving money". That is just not how it goes down. In the long run you spend twice as much trying to "save a buck" and then have twice as much trash on hand too. As for the unit, it works flawlessly right away without signal drops. The video quality is far superior to the aforementioned budget options. Do yourself a favor and get this item to solve your HDMI to SDI worries.
