A perfume's 'lotion' version is like a splash--the most diluted form of the scent. However, Piver's 'lotion'--in this case, 'Heliotrope'--has become so very diluted, it's more than a shame, it's a crime. There is so very little of the scent left, it's merely water and alcohol, and the faintest hint of the flower. Someone might just as well whispered the word 'heliotrope' over a bottle of diluent. You get a whiff of a faint whisper of a powdery, gentle dry-down...then it's all over. Piver's an illustrious, old name. What's been done to it should be worthy of arrest. They don't even make the 'Lavande' any more.
