Great feeling drill
The motor responds quickly and smoothly to the variable speed trigger pull. I was drilling 1/2" and 5/8" holes in concrete block and a poured floor and found the drill had has plenty of torque for expansion shield holes 2 - 2-1/2 inches deep. Although this is not a thorough test for a drill, I was quite pleased with it's performance and ease of use. It just has a comfortable 'beefy' feel to it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

For my Dad
My Dad had an older version of the Skil Slugger. He used it so much, he purchased a setup which converted it into a drill press.
