Too bad one has to search for an older product to get the best but that is the case with HP printers. This machine represents a high point in quality for HP where they were concerned about quality just as much as profitability. It works great, and is easy to set up. Work horse of my business....
I work most printers to death but not these older HP's. I print a lot of paper every day and I mean EVERY DAY. All I have ever done is replace the toner. I have two with one being a backup but have only used the backup one time when the primary had to go through the calibrate cycle. I opened the printer up and found a huge cockroach inside it that had shorted out the main power supply assy. I replaced the assy and the printer fired right up.
