I bought this to wrap it around some 3/16" cupronickel brake line in a spiral pattern as part of a Hampson-Linde heat exchanger I am building to liquefy dry CO2-stripped air. It seems a bit nicer than using ordinary single copper wire because it has higher surface area and a more contorted surface for promoting turbulence in the heat exchanger. I plan to use it for the final coldest stretch of the inner heat exchange circuit. The rest is just going to use ordinary copper wire since it isn't as important. The outer tube around it will be 1-inch PTFE. The circuit will operate at about 4500 psi inner and about 95 psi outer.

Tinned copper, twisted specialty wire is pretty, but not great for delicate, or intricate scale items. Gets brittle with relatively little working.

For my use it is very strong when welded together, a good value for what I get out of it.
