Quality Burner produced at the end of the CD/DVD era
In this age of streaming digital media, CD's and DVD's have faded from the market. There are still times physical media is needed. The Plextor PX-891SAF was one of the last audiophile writers produced before the era of physical media burning went out of fashion. I have used this Plextor model for a few years now, and have always had great success with creating audio CD's, as well as ripping tracks to digital using dBpoweramp's CD Ripper. I have tried other brands of writers and had less accurate writes with some coasters from time-to-time. I have some of the first CDs I burned using the Plextor and they still play without skipping. I have had other old CDs made from other brands that have track errors now. I consider the PX-891SAF to be a quality writer that has withstood the test of time on disks that were written. For those times it is still needed, and for all the ripping of old CDs to disk, I continue to rely on the Plextor writer to do a quality job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
