This is a new very correct (black) and very high quality screw on shift knob. This is correct for the Civilian and military FACTORY threaded gear shift lever. The factory threads were 5/16". The M-series (50s + 60's) Military shift levers were originally the push on style but I have found many that have been threaded after they made it into Civilian hands.
