EXCELLENT tool box. Arrived in 12 days (your mileage may vary of course).
This one may cost more than other similarly-sized boxes but you really get what you pay for --- it's worth. every. last. penny. From what I'd found while searching for a replacement for the plastic tool box that had served me well (but was disintegrating), the Trusco design has been around unchanged for many decades. And for good reason: it works!
They do give you wheels that can be installed underneath, but it appears that once they are installed and the metal tabs catch, they'll be tough to get off. One might want to have that option if, say, they wanted to put it in the back of a pickup! So I whipped up a small wooden tray out of 3/4" and 1/2" plywood and attached the wheels to that via wood screws instead.
Also, I cut out a couple of the cantilever trays from the old box and trimmed them to fit the Trusco, as well as using some of the supplied separators. See pix.
Overall an excellent and useful tool box. The real thing, not a Chicom knock-off. Recommended!
High quality Japanese product, holds a ton of tools in an organized way. Hard to find anything remotely this good in the US right now. I recommend picking up some rubber toolbox liner as this doesn't come with any.
