These Cruzer Blades are fantastic. Very fast, reliable and a great value. I use them so often. They can store pictures, music and files so easily and quickly. At present my favorite way to use them is to store music and take it where ever I go. I love my music and being able to have it at any computer i am at is just awesome. So many picture albums have been sent to friends and family on them. Not to mention the files you can store on them and take with you so easily. No bulky briefcase, just put in your pocket and go, what could be easier???

Nothing against the seller but this is encrypted and your stuff is on there but cant view it and I formatted to several different versions, FAT32 is common but didn't work and there are two more which don't work also. You can view on your computer ONLY! Wasted my money, had to get a different brand because I carry it to different computers.

I bought 4 of these flash drives to record mp3 music files for playback on in dash sound/video system in my motorhome. The system can handle no more than 8G capacity flash drives and USB 2.0/1.0, so the Cruzer Blade drives were just right. On the pro side they were inexpensive and I trust SanDisk for reliability. On the con side there is no protection for the terminals. There also appears to be no LED indicator light, but I tend to distrust such indicators and manually "eject" flash drives or turn off devices before removing the drives, or any removable memory media. Neither a pro or con is the fact the case is all plastic including the USB socket. The plastic construction may well be more durable than the metal sockets and is certainly lighter. I have not had time to extensively test my flash drives, but they loaded up with files without any issues and seemed as fast as USB 2.0 will permit. You risk your data using cheap memory cards or sticks. These are reliable. 8GB is a good size for saving a batch of documents, photos, etc. Also for "burning" an ISO file for operating system (Windows 10, Linuxes) installations or live disk (no installation) testing of new versions.

Sandisk has been making memory or a long time. One thing it is known for is the encryption password protection program that comes preloaded. I don't need it, so I reformat the drive for running boot programs and saving program installs that help me to recover my favorite Apps for my desktop. These can also be used for Boost drives for windows OS.
