A very useful model railroad structure.
The elevator leg and chutes in this kit are very useful when building models of coal handling and grain handling facilities. These kind of elevator legs can / could be found at small power plants, boiler houses, and manufactured gas plants, feed mills, flour mills, and grain elevators. I have used this product on models of a 5 to 10 Megawatt coal-fired power plant, a carbureted blue gas plant, and on a future grain elevator / feed mill complex. It is at home on models representing structures built from the late 1920s to the present day. It is a kit of modular design, and gives the model builder great flexibility as to the height of the elevator leg. It is also a relatively easy kit to assemble. The chutes and trusses allow the modeler to build fairly complex facilities, like the grain elevator pictured.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
