Good design/not so good quality control
The power strip is designed very well and it is able to handle the plugs/power adaptors for my two computers, one monitor and seven peripherals in addition to the coaxial and telephone cable inputs. Everything is surge protected and consolidated into one strip. That's the good part. The bad part is the housing is completely made of plastic and the 8 closely spaced plug receptacles inside the strip were not mounted perfectly flush up against the prong slots of the housing. That means upon trying to plug something in, the prongs were stopped cold as they did not hit the slots of the receptacles. A little simple jiggling did not do it; 6 out of the 8 receptacles took up to 10 minutes each to get the prongs to plug in, and I'm not talking about trying to force the larger grounded prong into the smaller hole. Slightly bending the prongs in either direction also made no difference. It took about an hour to get everything plugged in and it certainly was a pain. That's why I have to say it's bad quality control on Tripp's part.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
