Thinner than expected and not as sturdy, as name brand stay flats. I had to cut a piece of card board, to insert in it to mail photographs. You do get a good amount for the price, but if you're mailing something important than I suggest paying extra for the name brand / better quality envelopes.
The mailers are just a tad bit heavier than a flat rate priority mailer, not what I expected. I will have to add cardboard to make sure the item arrives safely without bending. I took a mailer to my Post Office and was told the mailer could go as a non machine able letter and is not considered a "stay flat" mailer. I'm glad I only purchased a small quantity , and now I'll search for the real thing.
Did not receive what was pictured. Mailers I received did not have an easy-opening pull strip. The mailers I received were flimsy compared to the ones I usually buy.
