I try to cut PVC on my miter saw, but when already-installed it is necessary to cut-in-place. In the past I usually used a hack saw with a coarse blade, but it is difficult to get a clean, square cut with a hack saw. The Stanley Fatmax PVC & Plastic Saw allows you to make relatively good cuts that are fairly clean and square. My only gripe is that the tooth set is insufficient, and the saw tends to bind when cutting. Despite some binding, the Stanley saw is much better than a hacksaw for cutting PVC.
